How accurate is your INSTANT ESTIMATE?
This is a “ballpark” number. There are a lot of factors we consider to give you a fair and accurate quote. AI cannot take all these into account yet. However, if you have a gable roof, this estimate should be close. If the estimate looks ok we encourage you to take the next step and submit a request for a written quote.
Should I worry about nails?
We take every precaution to ensure nails only end up in the discard bin and not in your lawn or driveway. This includes doing a though magnet sweep of your lawn as part of our clean up.
How far do you service?
Our preferred service radius is 1 hr around Chatham-Kent. However, we are always looking for ways to serve. We consider work outside this radius on a case by case basis. Feel free to get in touch with us and let see what we can do.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept cash, cheque, etranfer, visa and mastercard.
How much more does a steel roof cost?
Steel does cost more but the difference is not what you might expect. The materials cost more but the disposal and labor is less. This means a functional metal roof might only cost about 20-30% more than an asphalt roof.
With this increased cost comes increased peace of mind. Metal roofs typically hold up better in windy areas and have less maintenance overall. They last much longer as compared to asphalt. This makes a metal roof cost less per year of ownership over the life of the roof.
How long should my roof take?
Most 2000 square foot homes are done in about 2-3 days. Factors such as pitch, number of valleys and flashings can take a bit longer.
How long do asphalt Shingles Last?
CRC Regency Shingles carry Lifetime 40 year warranty with an Iron clad Warranty of 15 years from the manufacturer. We have seen shingles last that long however many of our clients comment on needing to replace a 15year old roof already. Poor installation and environment are a key factors in how long a roof will last. Realistically we expect Asphalt/ Fiberglass shingles to last an average of about 20 years.
Why do you need a down payment?
Once we receive your commitment for a project we begin to secure the materials so we can ensure a timely and efficient install. Securing these materials early protects your price and guarantees the price you pay is not more than the price you were quoted.
We ask for 10% on signing, 40% on material delivery and the remainder upon completion.
How much does a shingle roof cost?
Unfortunately there is not a “one-size-fits-all” answer. The honest answer is…It depends.
Complicated and steep roofs will cost more per square foot than low angle gable roofs. Steep, complicated roofs take more time to install and generate a bit more waste.
Install ranges from $5-10/sf for asphalt shingles.
